The express must save SEK 40-45 million in the fall, according to data to the Cultural News. Half of these savings will be made within the editorial work.

Sources for the Culture News state that all employees at the Express, owned by Bonnier news, were called to a meeting during the afternoon.

There it was revealed that the newspaper must undergo savings of 40-45 million during the autumn, half of which must be editorial.

According to the data, this will not mean major staff reductions, but it should be unclear in what way staff, and especially staffing staff, are affected.

A large 75-year celebration for the magazine is also canceled due to the savings.

It was also revealed during the meeting that SVT's former CEO, Eva Hamilton, will take a seat on Expressen's board.

The cultural news is looking for Anders Eriksson, head of Bonnier news.
