Journal of Africa - Fire in Central Africa, more than 10,000 fires counted in 48 hours in DR Congo and Angola

On the front page of Africa's newspaper, the fires ravaging central Africa. More than 10,000 fires occurred within 48 hours in the region. Nearly 7,000 in Angola, 4,000 in the Democratic Republic of Congo. A photo published by NASA shows the extent of fires on the continent and the disturbing dimension of the situation. In Sudan, women do not let their guard down. They take advantage of the current political transition to obtain more rights: mainly parity in the important positions of the future government. The composition of the latter should be announced this Wednesday.
