Al Ahli youths are close to signing Argentine Federico Cartabia from Deportivo Coruna, Spanish media reported.
Spanish newspaper Astasa said Cartapia was on his way to Al Ahly on a one-season loan with the right to buy after the end of the season for 1.5 million euros.
Al-Ahly's youth team currently includes three foreign players: Moldovan Luganor Henrique, Argentine Mauro Diaz and Swiss David Mariani.
