Georgian Prime Minister accused the opposition of destabilizing the situation

Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze against the background of protests and clashes of protesters with police near the parliament building accused the opposition forces in destabilizing the situation in the country.


According to him, the participation of the Russian delegation in the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy in Tbilisi "caused the reaction of every citizen." Bakhtadze stated that he agreed with the protest.

“It was a fair protest, but what happened the last two hours is violence. The united national movement is trying to destabilize the situation in the country, ”RIA Novosti quotes him.

A meeting was held in the parliament building with the participation of members of the government headed by the Prime Minister.

Earlier, Bakhtadze arrived at the Georgian parliament.
