Moldovan President Igor Dodon announced his intention in the near future to approve the new composition of the Supreme Security Council of the country to make decisions on the situation in the republic.

"Today I will sign a decree approving the new composition of the High Security Council, and all decisions in the country in the coming days will be made in accordance with the decisions of this authority," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

It is indicated that the Supreme Security Council includes the chairman of the parliament, the prime minister, the minister of the interior, the head of the defense ministry, and presidential advisers.

Earlier, the Constitutional Court of Moldova decided to transfer the powers of the President of the Republic to the acting Prime Minister Pavel Philip.
