Victim of detention in Kosovo, Russians will be sent to Belgrade

The Russian officer of the UN mission in the unrecognized Kosovo, Mikhail Krasnoshchykov, who was injured when he was detained by the Kosovo police, will be transferred to treatment in Belgrade.

“Yes, that's right,” they told the agency, responding to a question about sending a Russian for treatment at the main hospital in Serbia - the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade.

On May 28, Serbian President Alexander Vucic reported the detention of a Russian citizen - an UNMIK employee - by the Kosovo police.

The organization noted that, in addition to the Russians, a Serbian employee was also detained, both were injured. Subsequently, Krasnoshchekov was released.

According to Dr. Zlatan Elek from the North Mitrovitsa hospital, a Russian has a head injury.
