The US Department of Justice conveyed to Congress a summary of the report by Special Prosecutor Robert Muller on “Russian interference”, which notes the absence of evidence of the collusion of President Donald Trump with Russia.

"The evidence obtained during the investigation of the special prosecutor is not sufficient to establish that the president committed the crime and obstructed justice," the text of the NBC summary summarizes.

As noted in the document, “the investigation did not reveal that the participants in the Trump campaign had colluded with Russia or coordinated intervention actions”.

Earlier, US President’s lawyer Rudolph Giuliani said that the American leader was in a good mood, despite Muller’s report on “Russian interference”.

March 23, it became known that Muller completed the investigation into the case of "Russia's interference" in the American elections in 2016 and passed the corresponding report to Barr.

The Russian side has repeatedly denied "interference" in the electoral processes taking place in the territory of other states.
