Presidential candidate of Ukraine, the leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, is going to agree with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on a new financing program that will take into account the reduction in gas prices for Ukrainians.

This is reported by her faction.

“Rely on our art of negotiation with the International Monetary Fund,” said Tymoshenko before the meeting with the head of the IMF Christina Lagarde.

The politician pointed out that for Ukraine it is very important to continue cooperation with the foundation, but at the same time it is necessary to take into account the interests of the Ukrainians.

The head of Batkivshchyna added that she intends to win not only presidential elections, but also parliamentary elections, after which she will be able to reduce gas prices, according to her existing plan.

Earlier, Tymoshenko called what is happening in the gas sphere of Ukraine "a big deception."
