During the event in Simferopol, Russian President Vladimir Putin ironically commented on the statement of the head of the Jewish community in the region, Benjamin Wolf, about financial problems, due to which the deadlines for completing the construction of a synagogue in Crimea are postponed.

As noted by Wolf, the construction of a synagogue in Simferopol is delayed due to the "financial issue". At the same time, he clarified that despite some difficulties, all the works should be completed by the end of this year.
