The US administration is exploring the possibility of establishing a supply chain for medicines from European countries to Iran, which in this case will not violate US sanctions against Tehran.

This writes NBC with reference to representatives of the administration.

As noted, the proposal to establish a trade channel was received from Switzerland. It is assumed that the banks of this country will take responsibility for payments between Iran.

On March 12, US President Donald Trump extended the sanctions regime against Iran, introduced in 1995, for a year.

Director of the Center for the Study of World Energy Markets at the Energy Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Vyacheslav Kulagin, in an interview with FBA Economy Today, appreciated the position of Iran that Tehran does not plan to leave the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and does not intend to participate in reducing production.
