EMERCOM: there are no deaths in the university building in St. Petersburg

As a result of the collapse in the building of the university in St. Petersburg, no one died. This was stated in the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the city.


As Interfax reports, 81 students were evacuated from the building.

“81 people were evacuated - first and second year students. There are no dead. Information about the victims are being clarified, "- said in a statement.

Earlier it became known that the collapse of floors from the fifth to the second floor occurred in the university building.

The district administration of St. Petersburg reported that, according to some data, 21 people could be under the rubble.
