"The parties will discuss various aspects of bilateral relations," the text says.
It is noted that Shukri also intends to hold a series of meetings with the leaders of the US administration and members of Congress.
In January, it was reported that Pompeo and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi during the meeting discussed issues of religious freedom and the fight against terrorism in the Middle East.
