At about 9 o'clock last night, a report was received that a 129-ton fishing boat caught fire at a sea 54 km southwest of Eocheong-do, Gunsan-si, Jeollabuk-do.



All 27 crew members on board were rescued safely by the Coast Guard and a nearby fishing boat, but the ship sank around noon today, 15 hours after the accident.
