Spotify has just passed an important milestone in terms of users.

After its launch on the Russian market, the Swedish platform has indeed exceeded 300 million monthly active users, including 144 million premium users.

Spotify thus recorded an increase of 29 and 27% respectively compared to last year, announced the Swedish company.

The latter described its launch on the Russian market as "the most successful on the market to date".

In addition to Russia, Spotify has also appeared in 12 other European countries which obviously boosted its number of users.

Far behind

With more than 320 million premium and free subscribers, Spotify once again confirms its leadership position in the streaming platform market.

The Swedish service is far ahead of its competitors, Amazon Music with its 55 million users and Apple Music with its 60 million subscribers.

Beyond the number of songs available on its platform, Spotify also relies on podcasts and fun features such as karaoke to appeal to users.
