A man in his 60s was arrested by police on charges of wielding a fist and a weapon against a pedestrian he first saw on the street.
The Gyeonggi Gimpo Police Department announced today (28th) that it is under investigation by arresting 63-year-old A on charges such as special injury.
Mr. A is accused of hitting a man in his 50s with his fist several times in the face of a man he first met on a road in Yangchon-eup, Gimpo-si, at around 7:50 yesterday evening, and injuring a man in his 40s with a weapon to injure him.
Mr. A, who also threatened a female passerby in his 40s, was reported and arrested as a current offender by the police.
At that time, it was found that Mr. A was drunk and gave a gibberish on the motive of the crime.
The police who have secured the surrounding CCTV, etc. are planning to apply for an arrest warrant for Mr. A as soon as further investigation is completed.
