A charger capable of charging a smartphone in 19 minutes top chrono -

While Oppo presented a new wired charger a few months ago that can recharge a 4000 mAh battery in 20 minutes, its rival Xiaomi offers to do it faster.

And wireless.

With the 80 W Mi Wireless Charging, Xiaomi claims to be able to charge a 4000 mAh battery in just 19 minutes.

A minute of difference that shouldn't change much in practice, but which allows Xiaomi to be the fastest on paper.

In recent months, the Chinese manufacturer has released no less than three different chargers, each faster than the next: the 40 W, the 50 W and now the 80 W Mi Wireless Charging.

With it, Xiaomi promises a recharge "to 10% in 1 minute, 50% in 8 minutes and 100% in just 19 minutes".

A beautiful promise yet to be verified

Beyond the speed of charging, Xiaomi stands out for the fact that its fast chargers are wireless.

Ultra fast charging is therefore done by induction.

For comparison, Oppo's latest wireless charger with a capacity of 65W takes 30 minutes to charge a 4000mAh battery.

Xiaomi's breakthrough must still be tempered, because if the manufacturer has presented its new wireless charger, that does not mean that it is ready for mass production.

We can still hope that it accompanies the launch of the brand's next high-end smartphone.
