The Seoul Transportation Corporation has announced that it will take measures, such as passing through six subway stations near Gwanghwamun without stopping and closing the entrances if there is a concern about the spread of Corona 19 due to the Gaecheon Day (October 3) rally.

This is at the request of the government and the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and it is to prevent the precedent of the last Liberation Day rally when a large-scale confirmed case occurred, Seoul Transportation Corporation explained.

When the Gaecheon Day assembly is enforced, the stations where non-stop passage and entrance closure measures can be taken include Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5), Jonggak Station (Line 1), City Hall Station (Lines 1 and 2), Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3), Anguk Station (Line 3), There are a total of six.

In addition, the city of Seoul said that if the section from Gwanghwamun Square to Sejong-daero is controlled by an assembly, a total of 34 city bus routes may be detoured.

The city of Seoul said, "Please stay at home during the Chuseok holiday as much as possible." As the detour route is flexible depending on the circumstances of the assembly, it requested that you check the website (topis.seoul.go.kr) in advance.
