Professor Kyung-Shim Chung, a professor at Dongyang University, who was accused of illegal entrance exams and allegations of private equity, left the court during the trial, appealing for health problems again.

On the afternoon of the 24th, Professor Jeong was retired from the court after receiving permission from the judiciary at a follow-up trial held at the hearing of the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Agreement 25-2 (Deputy Judge Lim Jeong-yeop Kwon Seong-soo, Kim Sun-hee).

Professor Jeong attended the trial on the same day that started at 2 pm and, after the trial lasted for more than two hours, he appealed for health issues through a lawyer.

The lawyer said, "The defendant Jung Kyung-shim is in a very bad condition now," and asked, "Beginning with the following Witness newspapers, go to a vacant trial."

He also asked, “The hospital strongly says (the defendant) has to perform two surgeries,” and asked to postpone the trial date for a week from October to August.

Accordingly, the judiciary granted Professor Chung's resignation and decided not to hold a trial on October 8.

However, the decision hearing scheduled for November 5th was decided to proceed as scheduled.

Prof. Jeong, who received permission to retire, left the courtroom, supported by lawyers, and the trial continued without Professor Chung.

Professor Jeong complained of a health problem during the trial on the 17th, and while he was retired with the permission of the court, he fell to the floor and was taken by an ambulance.

The lawyer explained that Professor Jeong had been treated for a brain and nervous system problem.

Professor Chung's side requested that the deadline be postponed ahead of the trial on the day, but the court did not accept it, saying, "It does not appear to be in a state that cannot be tried."
