A 74-year-old man was attacked by three pitbulls this Monday morning in Istres while he was jogging.

Seriously injured in a leg, he risks amputation.

Two dogs were killed and the third found at his owner, already known to the police.

A 74-year-old man was quietly jogging this Monday morning in Istres when he was attacked by three pitbulls, according to information gathered by Europe 1. The septuagenarian was bitten and very seriously injured in a leg, which he risks the amputation.

A motorist who witnessed the assault killed one of the mastiffs by intentionally hitting him with his car. The Istres police officers, quickly arrived at the scene, shot a second pitbull in the street. The third dog was found at the home of his master, a 31-year-old man already known to the police. He was taken into custody while his third dog was to be captured.
