Messenger will offer to watch videos together… remotely -

Messenger continues to renew its application.

After opening up the possibility of video discussions for up to 50 people during confinement, the application intends to offer better “interaction” between the various stakeholders.

With the Watch Together feature, Messenger makes it possible to watch live videos between people at a distance.

Thus, this viewing will be available for up to eight people in a video call and 50 people in a living room.

The feature will be rolled out worldwide starting this week on Android and iOS devices.

A simple swipe

To take advantage of the functionality, the procedure could not be simpler.

During the video call, swipe up to bring up the menu.

The Watch Together feature will appear alongside Screen Sharing.

You can then select a suggested video for you or from one of three categories: TV & Movies, Viewed & Downloaded.
