Choi Kang-

representative of the Open Democratic Party in attendance at the court, entered the court without answering any questions from the reporters.

[CEO Kang-wook Choi/Open Democratic Party Representative: (Are you in the position that you have never issued an internship confirmation for 2018?)...

Prof. Kyung-Shim Chung and his son, Mr. Jo Mo, who came out as witnesses, applied for the witness support service and appeared in court through a closed channel.

After the oath of witnesses, Professor Chung told the judge that he would refuse to testify.

Article 148 of the Criminal Procedure Act allows him or his relatives to refuse to testify on content that is likely to be punished, and he said he would exercise the right to veto testimony like former Minister Cho Kook at the trial of Professor Chung.

Choi's lawyer insisted that the newspapers should be omitted because the witnesses said they would reject all testimony.

However, the prosecution confronted that Professor Jeong did not properly respond to the investigation, and that he could not investigate the legal firm internship confirmation at all, and that it could be an opportunity for the witness to state what is beneficial to him, so the witness should be examined.

The judges accepted the prosecution's opinion and a witness newspaper was conducted, but Professor Jeong and his son Jo Mo repeatedly answered that they would not make a statement.

The trial ended in about an hour and 40 minutes after only the prosecution questions continued to be answered.
