The president who is willing to provide '400 servings of Seolleongtang' for the flood victims in Cheorwon, who suffered heavy damage from the recent record heavy rain, is receiving applause.

The Korean Red Cross announced on the 10th that Lee Cheon-geun, a 56-year-old who owns a meat restaurant in Galmal-eup, Cheorwon-gun, donated 400 servings of seolleongtang and kimchi made overnight in three large cauldrons.

Mr. Lee confessed, "The number of restaurant customers was reduced due to flood damage in Corona 19, but the news of the rain damage from the residents of Cheorwon, my second hometown, made me prepared food." In addition, he cheered, "Because local residents visited the restaurant, the store could grow this much," he said, "I hope that you can eat seolleongtang filled with sincerity and recover quickly and return to your daily life."

Mr. Lee is known to invite 350 elderly people, including the elderly living alone, to the store twice a year to serve food, adding warmth.

The Korean Red Cross has been providing relief shelters, delivery of emergency supplies, and meals to 1,600 victims who have evacuated to Cheorwon Geunnam Elementary School and Odeok Elementary School since the 2nd. The Red Cross said it provided seolleongtang donated by Mr. Lee for dinner to the victims and recovery workers.
