northern regions of Chungnam, such as Cheonan and Asan, heavy rain damage was also severe. Especially in Cheonan, houses and malls were flooded, and residents were evacuated. In Asan, the search for missing persons continues. We will connect with reporters who are out on the site and find out the situation now.

Reporter TJB Kim Cheol-jin, it rained a lot yesterday (3 days) in Cheonan. How are you now?

<Reporter>

Yes, I am in the Seongjeong Underpass in Cheonan, Northwest.

The place, which had been flooded yesterday, was full of water, but now the water has been drained and restoration has been completed, allowing the vehicle to pass.

Since yesterday, the water levels of the main streams of Cheonan, such as Cheonan Stream, Sanbang Stream, and Entry Stream, have risen rapidly, and about 150 residents have been evacuated to temporary evacuation facilities in the building.

Displaced people who have moved to temporary housing facilities are anxious about the forecast from the Korea Meteorological Administration that it will rain more.

Particularly, the residents of Jangsan-ri, who had evacuated to a nearby school due to the collapse of a part of the embankment, seemed devastated by seeing the houses and farmlands submerged in rain.

The roads were flooded and rivers overflowed, causing 112 damages to the Cheonan area yesterday.
