Prosecutor Han Dong-hoon, designated as a victim of alleged misrepresentation, filed a civil lawsuit of 500 million won against KBS reporters and executives who acknowledged and misrepresented him.

An attorney at the prosecutor's office said, "I filed a lawsuit against the eight South Koreans, including the KBS Press Headquarters, in the Seoul Southern District Court."

One prosecutor demanded that the reporters of the KBS legal team and the executives responsible for the article in question would pay 500 million won in total.

KBS Corporation was excluded due to the possibility of tax incurred in litigation costs and compensation.

On the 18th of last month, KBS reported that former channel A reporter Lee Dong-jae and prosecutor Han Dong-hoon conspired to raise suspicion of the implications of the stock price manipulation of the late President of the Roh Moo-hyun office.

KBS said, "(Prosecutor Han) said that'Yui has retired from politics' and'the political burden is not great even if he investigates.' I did.

On the next day, the prosecutor sued the Seoul Southern District Prosecutor's Office on charges of defamation, including KBS press officials and officials who provided false information, saying, "It is a complete fiction and creation that is pretended to have a dialogue that does not actually exist."

On the same evening, KBS acknowledged the misinformation and apologized, saying, "The fact that some of the articles were not accurately identified was expressed."
