In a village in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, where heavy rains are blowing, the soil and rocks collapse and hit the road, so residents and victims are isolated for the second day.

According to today's (4th) Gapyeong-gun Office, yesterday afternoon, the axle above the entrance to a village in Imcho-ri, Sangmyeon, Gapyeong-gun collapsed.

As a result, large rocks and soil were poured over the road, blocking the driveway, and the residents and the victims were isolated.

In addition, the electricity supply was stopped because the power pole collapsed, and there is no water.

Gapyeong-gun and KEPCO used excavators to recover, but the amount of rocks and soil is taking considerable time.

Houses on the pole are also at risk, with some of the ground exposed.

The amount of rain that falls this morning has diminished and has entered a brief lull.

"I was already isolated because it rained a lot yesterday and suddenly the electricity was cut off, so I was already isolated," said Mr. A, a 40-year-old vacationer who is staying in a village pension.

Mr. A added, "I am very frustrated because there is no place in the village where I can find food."

From 6 pm on the 1st to 9 am today, the rainfall in Gapyeong recorded 317 mm in the north, 312 mm in the outside, and 283 mm in the town.
