Heavy rains are pouring in the middle of the heavy rain warning in Seoul. The Hangang Diving Bridge has been controlled since yesterday (2nd) in the afternoon, and the eastern arterial road began to be fully controlled a while ago. Connect with reporters on site.

Reporter Kang Min-woo, what is the level of diving bridge first?

It was repeated on the dive bridge here before and after the rain.

At one time, the submerged bridge as well as the nearby Banpo Hangang Park were submerged, but now the water is still quite drained.

When the designated water level of the diving bridge exceeds 6.5m, the road is submerged. The water level exceeded 7.1m yesterday evening and went down to 6.44m at 5:30 today.

However, the vehicle control standard 6.2m has been passed, so control continues.

As it is predicted that the rainy season will continue in the central region by the 12th, related organizations such as the Seoul Metropolitan Government have moved electronic equipment to highlands in preparation for flooding of the park, and said that restrictions on control of diving bridges and Hangang Park will continue until this morning.

Anyway, the Han River water has been very strong and the level of Jungnangcheon seems to have risen, but what about the situation in other parts of Seoul?

Other areas are also in constant flow depending on the level of the Han River.

The Paldang Dam, which had a direct effect on the water level of the Han River, was discharged at 10,000 tons per second at 4 pm yesterday.

However, as of 5:30 in the morning, the water level in the river is expected to decrease to 5,600 tons per second, and the level of the Han River is expected to gradually decrease.

However, as local rains continue to rain everywhere, most of the Hangang Park is still closed.

In addition to the current diving bridge in downtown Seoul, the level of the Han River and Jungnangcheon has risen since 5:30, just before, and traffic on the eastern main road was completely controlled.

The Seoul city government said that additional control sections may be added at any time depending on the change in the water level of the Han River.
