Zelensky said that Ukraine is interested in resuming cooperation with Egypt on the production and management of satellites, on the modernization of the ground-based flight control base and equipment for testing spacecraft, as well as on the training and education of Egyptian specialists.
“I am convinced that our states have significant potential for cooperation in the use of outer space for peaceful purposes,” the Ukrainian president said.
In November 2019, the Ukrainian Yuzhnoye design bureau presented a project for a lunar lander.
