The court sentenced a male shaman to a 40-year-old man who threatened a teenage student and raped her.

Today (20th), the 2nd Criminal Justice of the Jeju District Court (Deputy Chancellor Chan-Soo Jang) announced that he sentenced 12 years in prison to 40-year-old A who was charged with violating the law on sexual protection of children and adolescents (hierarchy, etc.).

A shaman A, in September 2017, asked Yang B, a teenage teenager, to receive the confidence, saying, "If you don't receive a god, a windbreak will happen to your family. After Ms. B got down, she threatened and sexually assaulted Ms. B, who became her'daughter of God' and a disciple, "If you don't have a relationship with me, your family dies."

The sexual assault continued until July 2018. In the process, Mr. A was said to have made statements such as "If a disciple does not find God, he must establish a relationship", "You and my sex are God-given", "Resolving unfairness."

The judge judged Mr. A to have committed the crime by exploiting the desperate situation of Miss B, who had suffered from a young age. Mr. A initially insisted that "the victim accused him of not being there as a shaman to take his place," but eventually confessed to the crime when the claims of the key witnesses did not match.

"The court has denied that the defendant's guilt is very bad and that he has never had sex with the victim, from the investigative agency to the court," he said. In addition, he explained the reason for the sentence, saying, "The impact and wounds that the victim felt were difficult to easily grasp," and "the overall consideration was given to the victim's pleading for punishment and the defendant's confession even if he was late."
