Scroll preview

The scroll preview feature enables the user to preview the many open tabs at one time during the browsing session by hovering over the tabs, where an information box appears automatically, displaying brief information about the tab in which the URL and information about the page open on the tab, what Makes recognition of open tabs more visible.

And this feature is turned on automatically without the need to set the browser on it from within the settings page, as was the case in previous versions. Apple also added a feature to monitor hacked and stolen passwords that appear on dark web sites, in leaked data, and match them to the words stored in the browser, and report any words that are stolen or violated. Apple did not reveal the details of this feature, but analysts said it will not differ much from what exists in Chrome and Firefox.

Catch up with other browsers

With the new features in Safari 14, Apple is trying to catch up with advanced features found in other browsers, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge.
