The prosecution's investigation and deliberation committee has been held at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office from 10:30 today (26th) to judge whether it is appropriate to hand over Samsung Electronics vice chairman Lee Jae-yong, who is suspected of illegal succession to the court.

The deliberations of the judges were oblivious to the questions of the reporters. Former Supreme Court Justice Yang Chang-soo, chairman of the investigation committee, said to the interviewer, "Who knows?"

15 experts from various fields selected through lottery in the legal, academic, media, and civic groups judge the validity of prosecution of Samsung Electronics vice chairman Lee Jae-yong, and the prosecution and vice chairman Jae-yong Lee's lawyers distribute 50 pages of opinions to the committee members After that, they will explain their logic in the form of a presentation.

The prosecution is expected to emphasize the allegations that Samsung has illegally merged with Cheil Industries and Samsung C&T to bolster Samsung Group's vice chairman Lee Jae-yong's management power and strengthen his control, and the vice president also reported or ordered the process.

In response, Samsung is likely to refute that there were no quotes and accounting fraud claimed by the prosecution and that there was nothing reported or ordered by Vice President Lee.

Attorney General Lee Bok-hyun, chief prosecutor of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office of Economic Crime and Criminal Justice, will be attended by the prosecution. Attorneys from the Special Prosecutors' Office, such as Busan Prosecutor Kim Ki-dong and Western Prosecutor Lee Dong-yeol, will attend.

The deliberation committee will have a verbal argument in the morning and then lunch time, and it will be held for about 7 hours and 20 minutes until 5:50 pm.

The conclusion seems to come out late this afternoon.
