16 captains and crew of a Russian cargo ship moored at Gamcheon Port in Busan were judged positive for Corona 19 last night (22nd).

The National Quarantine Service said 16 people were confirmed as a result of examining 21 people, including Russian captains and crews, of the 3,900-ton frozen cargo ship.

The cargo ship departed from Vladivostok, Russia and docked at Gamcheon Port in Busan in the morning.

At the time of entry, he passed a documentary inspection, but was subject to special quarantine after news that the previous captain had been confirmed corona in Russia.

The health authorities will notify the two-week self-containment measures by classifying 176 people, such as the Busan Shipping and Transportation Workers and pilots, who were on the cargo ship for unloading work.

More than 60 people, including the anti-union workers, who were unloading from the cargo ship, decided to classify them as close contact and inspect them first.

"A lot of them took off their masks during the work, but they unloaded to and from other adjacent Russian ships," the Hangun union said.

Quarantine authorities are currently conducting Corona19 inspections on 21 crew members aboard another Russian ship.

As the number of port workers is quarantined, Busan Port is discussing future port operation policies, such as the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the Port Union.
