Typos can be frequent. In most cases, the automatic corrector takes care of correcting errors. Despite everything, it happens to meet some concerns, in particular the replacement of a word by another without any link with the original meaning. If we are too fast, we then send the message without realizing this anomaly.
To avoid this kind of problem, it is sometimes better to deactivate the tool.
Disable automatic corrector on Android
In Android, go to your smartphone's settings, then "System" or search for "Languages and input". Open the virtual keyboards and select "Gboard". Then press "Text correction" and deactivate automatic correction.
If you use a keyboard other than Gboard, the handling will still be similar. In the settings of your phone, go to "System", then "Language and input". Finally select the keyboard you are using. For example, SwiftKey Keyboard.
Depending on the keyboard, the interface may be different, but you should find an option on typing or text correction. You just have to deactivate the autocorrection option.
Disable automatic corrector on iOS
Under iOs, go to your iPhone settings, then "General". Then press "Keyboard" and deactivate the automatic correction. Simply.
