No more trial period on Disney + - Geeko

The film giant has decided to get rid of the trial offer for its Disney + streaming service. Where most of its competitors offered up to a month of free trial, Disney already offered only 7 days of free access. The complete disappearance of the trial offer tends to confirm a general trend: Disney + has largely exceeded its objectives of the giant and probably believes that it is no longer necessary to offer a trial offer to attract new customers.

The trial offer has disappeared in all the countries where the platform has already been launched, including in France. Disney has not yet revealed whether it will be offered in the countries where the service will launch later this year.

An impressive catch-up

With more than 50 million subscribers, Disney + is catching up with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Disney's streaming service relies above all on its attractive price and the richness of its historic catalog to appeal to consumers. The platform should also soon welcome more exclusive content, including new Star Wars and Marvel series.
