“Russian experts at the Kourou spaceport in French Guiana are neutralizing the Frigate upper stage, in which an oxidizer leak has occurred,” Roscosmos quoted the RIA Novosti press service as saying.
It is noted that this procedure is quite lengthy and will help determine ways to resolve the problem.
Earlier, at the Kourou space center, Russian experts examined the Frigate upper stage, in which a toxic fuel leak occurred.
