There was a lot of illegality in the process of succession to the Samsung Group's management rights, and the arrest warrant, which the prosecution claimed against Samsung Electronics vice-president Lee Jae-yong, was dismissed early today (9th).

Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong, who returned home 16 hours after attending the prosecution, did not answer the interviewer's question, such as "I doubt that he had been ordered or reported illegal merger, but he continued to deny it." Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong immediately boarded the vehicle and returned home.

Judge Won Jeong-sook of the Seoul Central District Court dismissed the arrest warrant of vice chairman Jae-yong Lee at 2:00 am today. The court cited the'principle' of the disarmament trial, saying it lacked a vocation to explain why it was necessary and why it should be.

First, Judge Won said that the allegation of illegal succession in Samsung's management was uncovered.

However, in view of the importance of the case, the prosecution seems to have secured considerable evidence, he explained that it is reasonable to decide whether or not the vice president is responsible through sufficient attrition and hearing during the trial process.

The court also dismissed both Choi Ji-sung's former Future Strategy Officer and Kim Jong-jung's former US Warroom Strategy Team's arrest warrant for the same reason.

Vice Chairman Lee is under suspicion of operating a top secret TF called Project G under the control of Samsung's unscheduled room, instructing the succession of management rights and manipulating the stock price during the merger with Samsung C&T.

The prosecution said it was unhappy with the court's decision to dismiss the court, and said it would make full efforts for future investigations regardless of the results of the warrant.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office is planning to hold the Morea Deliberation Committee and decide whether to refer the case to the Prosecutors' Review Committee.
