A fire broke out at a factory on the designated side of Wonju-si, Gangwon, around 4:30 p.m. on the 31st.
The fired factory is said to be a place to manufacture and store pallets.
As the fire spread through the factories and warehouses to the back mountain, the fire department is initiating the first phase of the response and putting two helicopters into action to extinguish it.
Police and fire departments will investigate the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage as soon as they catch the flame.
