Schools that adjusted school schedules for the Bucheon Coupang Logistics Center exceeded 500 at 6pm yesterday (28th).

The largest number of kindergartens were 229, 130 elementary schools, 70 middle schools, and 60 high schools.

As the number of corona19 infections spread from the Coupang Distribution Center, the education authorities came up with a plan to minimize the number of students attending school.

High schools are expected to go to school within two thirds of all students, but Kindergarten, elementary schools, middle schools, and special schools in the metropolitan area have been changed to attend school within one third of all students.

The goal is to keep the density of schools as low as possible to prevent corona19 group infections in schools.

In non-metropolitan areas, attendance will remain within two thirds.

There were 838 schools and kindergartens nationwide that suspended or postponed attending classes yesterday, increasing 270 places in one day.

There were more than 250,000 students who did not attend school due to suspicious symptoms, underlying diseases, etc. after home study or attending school.

The education authorities revised the policy of sequential attendance of the remaining elementary, middle and high school students as scheduled, but responding flexibly according to the situation of each school.
