An investigation was opened by the Grenoble prosecutor's office for "attempted murder in an organized gang", after three men of 17, 21 and 22 years were injured during a shooting in a sensitive district of Échirolles, a commune of south of the Grenoble conurbation. 

Three people were wounded by bullets, including one seriously, Saturday evening in Isère during a shooting occurred in a camp of the travelers located in the close suburbs of Grenoble, one learned Sunday from concordant sources. A 21-year-old man was rescued by firefighters in a state of absolute emergency after this brawl, which took place shortly before 10 p.m. in a sensitive district of Échirolles, a town in the south of Grenoble. .

The victim, whose vital prognosis "was engaged" on Saturday evening, was transported to the shredding service of the Grenoble University Hospital with injuries "to the hand, stomach and leg," said midday Sunday parquet of Grenoble. Injured to an ankle during the shooting, a 17-year-old young man was transported to the couple-child hospital of the Grenoble University Hospital. The third injured man, a 22-year-old man with a shin injury, went to a private clinic in the south of the city before the emergency services arrived. Contacted by AFP, the Departmental Directorate of Public Safety (DDSP) of Isère confirmed the shooting, but was unable to specify the circumstances at this stage of the investigations.
