In the future, students who have been criminally committed for committing sexual offenses, such as joining the telegram 'room n', will not be able to obtain teacher status.

The Ministry of Education held the 4th Social Relations Ministerial Meeting and the 2nd Human Investment and Talent Training Council at the Sejong Government Complex on the morning of the 24th.

At the meeting, plans for follow-up in the field of education on measures to combat digital sexual crimes announced jointly by the related ministries the previous day were discussed.

The Ministry of Education first decided to prevent sex offenders from standing on the denomination by preventing pre-kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school preliminary teachers from being able to obtain teacher qualifications if they have a history of criminal prosecution.

An official from the Ministry of Education explained that "the provisions related to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act and the Early Childhood Education Act will be newly established." In the past, when hiring school teachers, the history of sexual crimes acted as a reason for disqualification. I did.

The Ministry of Education decided to find out if there were students among the perpetrators who participated in digital sexual crimes such as Room n with the cooperation of investigation agencies.
If such a student is identified, we will consider measures such as education, counseling, and discipline.

We decided to provide counseling and treatment in connection with external professional organizations such as medical institutions to students victims of digital sexual crimes.

The government also decided to strengthen digital sexual crime prevention education for students, parents, and teachers.

The prevention of digital sexual crimes will be strengthened in the process of teacher job training and qualification training.

The Ministry of Education plans to comprehensively and systematically handle school sex education and disseminate gender sensitive education programs and materials to school sites.

An official from the Ministry of Education said, "We will also strengthen media literacy education so that students can judge what is right and wrong in the digital environment."

The meeting also discussed ways to support primary school working families, single parents, and grandchildren and support remote classes.

The government has decided to support remote classes through a home visit instructor project for students who are having difficulty participating in remote classes due to the home environment.

The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family provides childcare (7 thousand people), learning instructors (497 people), and visiting education instructors (1,735 people) to custom-made, single-parent, grandchildren, and multicultural families to support students' remote classes.

The Ministry of Science and ICT decided to help students utilize smart devices by introducing informatization education instructors (181 people) to their families whose grandparents are guardians.

The Ministry of Education decided to accept primary care classes mainly for students in families that need care, such as working families, low-income families, and single-parent families.

An official from the Ministry of Education said, "The number of primary schoolchildren participating in emergency care continues to increase to more than 4% of the total, and it is estimated that more than 41% of the primary caregiver capacity is now full."

The school will use it to take care of spaces outside the care room, such as libraries and special rooms.

The Department of Education decided to expand emergency care support by using a pool of workforce by city, such as after-school instructors, retired teachers, fixed-term teachers, and volunteers.

Together, care centers such as the Care Center, Regional Children's Center, Youth After School Academy, etc. also support remote classes.

The government has made it possible for village caring institutions to receive support for college students and working scholarship students if they lack a distance learning assistant.

At this meeting, plans to develop talents in high-tech fields were also discussed.

The Ministry of Education announced that the number of high-tech students to be selected by the university was confirmed through the High-tech Department Quarterly Review Committee.

As announced in November of last year, we decided to cultivate about 9,000 people in the future and high-tech fields from the 2021 school year through the adjustment of capacity in the university, the establishment of a convergence department, and the financial support project of the university.

At the meeting, the Ministry of Environment discussed ways to respond to the unstable recycling market as oil and renewable raw material prices fell in the wake of the new coronavirus infection (Corona19).

In order to reflect the drop in the price of recycled products in the distribution structure, we decided to promote the 'shared house recycling product price linkage system' and reduce the sale and collection of recycled products by about 40%.

The allowable storage amount for each industry is expanded and the waste plastics are stored publicly through the Korea Recycling Resource Distribution Center.

Even with these measures, if there are companies that cannot be collected, the local government decided to introduce a public collection system such as collecting them directly.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor discussed ways to encourage the public sector to lead the implementation of compulsory employment of people with disabilities and procurement of products at standard workplaces, as concerns about the reduction of jobs for the disabled in the aftermath of the Corona19.

During the government innovation evaluation in June this year, the employment rate of persons with disabilities will be reflected by ministries, and based on this, the employment charges for persons with disabilities will be reported and paid in January.
