The SGAE Foundation encourages young people from 6 to 17 years old to encourage creativity and get rid of boredom during confinement

Encourage creativity, family work and knowledge of audiovisual language among children. This is the objective that the SGAE Foundation seeks through the Short Film Competition for small and young creators: I stay at home that has convened and that will award audiovisual pieces made as a family during the days of confinement.

Any child between 6 and 12 years old (children's category) and adolescents between 13 and 17 years old (youth category) who want to be a film director for a day can participate in this contest. The films, which can be of any genre and theme and in any official language of the Spanish State, must not last more than three minutes and must be delivered before April 13, 2020 (included).

A jury will award three short films from each category, which will subsequently be shown in the Sala Berlanga in Madrid on the day of the awards ceremony (date to be determined). All winners will participate in a colloquium on the day of the screening, moderated by a professional from the audiovisual industry.

Short films may not include, use or synchronize pre-existing music or fragments of other people's works. The piece must be completely original. Nor should you record images of people who have not expressly given their authorization (neighbors, pedestrians, etc.) or images of paintings or photographs of others.

The works will be sent electronically, using a file transfer platform, type WeTransfer or similar, to the email formacion@fundacionsgae.org . The submission of the shorts must be accompanied by the participation and authorization form attached to these rules. More information here.
