Public officials who worked with social service personnel who illegally handed over personal information to Dr. Jo Joo-bin, the 'Parkbang' operator, are under investigation by the police. It is said that they did not properly manage and supervise social service personnel, and the police are investigating how they were able to access personal information.

Jo, Joo-bin, the operator of Dr. Bang's room, was possible because there were social service personnel who illegally retrieved personal information from the ward office or community center.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Intelligence Crime Investigation Agency said it was investigating and prosecuting ward offices and resident center officials who worked with social service personnel who illegally handed over personal information to Joo-bin Cho.

These are officials who worked at the Songpa-gu Resident Center in Seoul and Yeongtong-gu Office in Suwon, and are accused of not properly managing and supervising Jo Ju-bin's accomplices.

Choi Mo, 26, who worked at the Songpa-gu Resident Center, was arrested on the 3rd on charges of illegally inquiring about 200 personal information and handing over 17 personal information to Mr. Cho while assisting in the issuance of a resident registration copy.

Kang Mo, a 24-year-old who worked at the Yeongtong-gu Office in Suwon, was also accused of accusation of accessing the computer network of the Ward Office to access personal information about the victims and their families and handing them over to Cho for retaliation.

The police will summon the officials in the near future and investigate how social service personnel without access can access personal information.
