The army was again able to wear a brimmed combat cap in nine years.

According to military officials today (24th), the Army is planning to promote the supply of new combat caps as the Corona 19 situation calms down.

Military authorities initially planned to complete the supply of new combat caps before the summer of this year, but the time was delayed by the spread of Corona19.

The army's current beret has been in use since 2011 to provide strong imagery and wider field of view for soldiers.

However, there was no visor, so it couldn't block the sun, and it was 100% wool material, so there was no ventilation at all.
A military official explained, "With the complaints of the soldiers, we have been promoting the development of new combat caps two years ago."

The new sunshade will be resized on the back of the hat and a part to fix the sunglasses. In addition, it is expected that the functionality will be improved by using a moisture-proof fabric.

The Army is currently working on a discussion regarding the specific supply period, and plans to establish detailed standards for wearing berets and sunshades depending on the time and place.
