An ATM was destroyed by an explosion last night in Villars-les-Dombes, in Ain. Around 0h40, criminals attacked this machine of a Postal Bank agency, according to information collected by Europe 1. The inhabitants were awakened by the noise of an explosion. The ATM was torn from the front of the agency and the robbers managed to seize one of the secure boxes containing the banknotes. The amount of the damage is unknown at this time. The criminals fled in a sedan. An investigation was opened, entrusted to the gendarmes of the Trévoux brigade.
