Yesterday (17th) when it was snowing, the number of people killed in an accident in the Suncheon-Wanju Expressway tunnel increased to five people. The accidents are also being revealed one after another, which seems to have increased as cars collided with each other, starting with the collision of large vehicles.

Just before the accident, the tunnel starts, a large trailer with armored vehicles and a van move as if they were one body.

The two cars seem to be connected, but in reality the vans are pushing in and pushing out.

Afterwards, the rear van stopped off from the front and stopped and the trailer continued.

At this point, a collision began to occur behind the stopped van, and a large tank lorry with nitric acid fell to the side and two tank lorry crashed into a large accident.

The crash of vans and military transport trucks that seemed light was the start of the disaster.

Unlike passenger cars that have stopped quickly or have a light collision, large vehicles like tank lorry have not stopped.

The joint police first investigated the trailer and the crash truck driver.

The driver reportedly stated, "The trailer slowed down and applied the engine brakes, the car slipped and got into the front car, after which the steering wheel did not listen."

The KTO released a video of the snow clearing tunnel 30 minutes before the accident, but police are investigating various possibilities, such as freezing roads and securing safety distances.

Two bodies were found in the process, killing five people.

The lanes for Suncheon were resumed at 6 pm this evening, but the lanes for Wanju will be opened after the tunnel safety diagnosis and repair.
