Mission to Mars
Science fiction film released in 2000 directed by Brian De Palma and starring Gary Sinise, Tim Robbins, Connie Nielsen, Don Cheadle and Jerry O'Connell . The mission in the film is based on the Direct to Mars plan, a real proposal suggested by the Mars Society to send a human crew to the red planet.
Synopsis: The first manned mission to Mars runs into something they were not prepared for, a surprise of an enigmatic nature and, of course, an alien, which brings with it fateful results. Without problems, the movie is about NASA sending a second mission to make the same mistake.

Well, this time yes, although we have not yet set foot on Mars as a species, nor fought with mysterious Martian beings, we have achieved different advances in colonizing the planet, from registering its surface to find water to creating the program Artemis, whose goal is to bring the first woman and man to the surface of the moon in 2024 (approximately).

Cyberpunk 2020
It is a role-playing game developed by Mike Pondsmith and published in 1988 by R. Talsorian Games . The game is set in the science fiction genre called cyberpunk .
Synopsis : In a dystopian year 2020, governed by cyclopeas and omnipresent megacorporations that operate above the law, society is in pure decline. The human race is the cause of the destruction of the ecosystem. There is no ozone layer, there is a layer of toxic gases that do not let sunlight and it gets worse with a permanent gray rain.
Similar to today? Well, possibly our dear Greta Thunberg and a few of us already feel like living in a climate dump at the height of Cyberpunk 2020. It is true that some advances that appear in the game have been far exceeded and that the ozone layer has partially recovered , but there is still much to fight on the environmental issue.
