Six people were injured, including one firefighter who was working on a fire or extinguishing at a chemical manufacturing plant in Incheon.

According to the Incheon Fire Department on the 12th, a fire broke out on the 3rd floor of a four-story chemical manufacturing plant in Seoknam-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon around 12:07.
Five people including staff A (36) who were in the factory were injured by this fire and are transferred to neighboring hospital by 119 first aid team and are treated.

Two of them were known to be seriously injured by burns.

The other three are inhaling smoke and receiving medical treatment.

During the fire extinguishing, fire station B (38) also burned his face and evacuated 45 people inside the factory building.
The fire burned the third and fourth floors of the factory as of 1:40 pm and did not spread to other buildings nearby.

The fire authorities, who received the report, issued an “Operation Level 1,” an alarm order issued by all fire department personnel within 10 minutes of the fire.

The fire authorities put 37 equipment, including pump cars, and about 110 firefighters into the fire.
Due to the accumulation of chemicals inside the factory, black smoke soared into the sky, as seen in Songdo International City, more than 15 km away from the fire.

A fired factory is owned by a manufacturer of photographic equipment, a subsidiary of a dye company, that produces photosensitive materials, which are liquid chemicals that go into TVs and monitors.

The building's total floor area is 4,500 square meters.
The fire authorities plan to investigate the exact condition and cause of the fire after extinguishing the chemical reaction in the synthesis reaction chamber on the 3rd floor of the plant, leading to a fire after the flame.

An official from the fire department said, "We caught some fire," he said. "It may take some time to fully evolve."
