The former attorney general, 54, visited the Seoul detention center on the 24th and met with his wife, Chung Kyung-sim (57).
Mr. Cho met with Professor Chung at 10:48 am on a visit to the Seoul detention center in Uiwang, Gyeonggi-do.
A middle-aged woman believed to be a family member accompanied.
It was the first time the court visited about 10 hours after Chung issued a warrant for his arrest.
Judge Song explained that "a significant part of the crime has been called out and that there is a risk of evidence being destroyed in the light of the investigation."
As prosecutors have secured Chung's recruits, it is analyzed that the former investigator is also going to be rushing.
The prosecution suspects many of the 11 crimes in which Chung's arrest warrant appears, and the former secretary may have been aware of or may be involved.
The prosecution has a lot to check with the former minister, so there is also the possibility of a direct investigation.
Mr. Cho has explained in a personnel hearing that he had no knowledge of the fund manager and no idea where he invested in the blind fund.
