Earlier, Roscosmos reported that the commercial launch of the Proton-M launch vehicle with the European telecommunications satellite Eutelsat 5 West B and MEV-1 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome will take place on September 30.

On July 31, Proton-M was delivered to the Baikonur Cosmodrome from the Khrunichev Center Rocket and Space Plant.
