From 2000 to 2011, the Special Committee on Social Assistance revealed that more than 800 types of humidifier disinfectants, including Aekyung's 'humidifier mates', were found to be used in 12 places including land, sea and air force.
Humidifier disinfectants have been found to be used primarily in soldiers' living spaces.
In addition, the Committee will secure testimonies of victims who suffered from health problems due to exposure to humidifier disinfectants during military service.
The Task Force also receives additional reports of suspected humidifier disinfectants during military service.
