The second joint investigation to uncover the cause of the fire in Seoul's Jongno Gosiwon, which killed seven people, was held at 10:10 am today.

Police and Fire Department, National Institute of Scientific Investigation, and Korea Electric Safety Corporation participated.

Police have estimated that fire started in the electric stove used by Mr. A, a resident of GyoSwon 301, as a result of the first spot test results and eyewitness statements yesterday.

I do not think there is any possibility of fire, because I have not found any flammable material on the site, and Mr. A has tried to turn off the fire.

Today, in the ceremony, it was confirmed that there was no other cause such as short-circuit or whether the actual ignition started from the electric heater, centering on the No. 301, which is supposed to be the ignition point.

[Cho, Kwang-hyun / Chief Inspector Jong-Roh: Detecting the fire scene and collecting the evidence to find the ignition point and the cause of the ignition.]

Yesterday, at around 5 am, seven residents were killed and 11 others were injured due to a fire in a building in Gosiwon.

[Mr. Chung / Injured: There is always a way out on the roof. Do not open it because it is open. Then I just held my hand and burned it.]

The police will analyze the results of the joint identification and will send the collected evidence to the National Diet.
